Lately the press is making a big fuss about an incredibly effective healing modality called “blood spinning” or PrP (platelet rich plasma). The are tying it to blood doping, performance enhancing drugs and other illegal practices.
Once again, the pharmaceutical industry and the AMA is attempting to dupe the public out of the real story. Here it is…
There is a technique that is routinely utilized in Europe to assist in the healing process. It was invented in Germany, and though rarely offered in America IT IS FDA APPROVED AND LEGAL!
One might question why we are not being encouraged to be treated with it, and why the technique isn’t taught in American
medical schools or covered by any insurance.
Well the answer is that if this technique is used, in many cases the patient can AVOID SURGERY! Surgery is a big money maker, and the drugs accompanying an operation are generally costly as well. So it’s no big surprise that the media is attempting to discredit it. They are even using the fact that it was administered to Tiger Woods as a way of further undermining the reputation of the technique, plus any doctors who are brave enough to provide it.
The problem in Tiger’s case is that the doctor isn’t licensed in America…it has nothing to do with the precedure itself, which is LEGAL.
I’m writing this from personal experience. Several months ago I was told I needed hip replacement surgey. I told the doctor that I’d rather be dead, huffed out of his office and sprang into action to research alternate healing methods that are listed on the Internet.
After following a bunch of leads, I discovered a doctor in NYC that administers PrP. I’ve already had 4 treatments combined with intense physiotherapy sessions.
Sorry doctors, look like I won’t be a surgery patient after all! My pain is down to practically zero, and my hip flexibility has gone from zero to 30%!
The reason I’m relating this to you is to encourage and inspire you to look for alternatives to “regular” medical recommendations.
